Birthed at the end of walking the Camino de Santiago, a 600 mile pilgrimage of sacred sites from Southern France to the central coast of spain. For the majority of the journey you walk towards the setting sun and at the journey's end, when you reach the coast, a place called Finisterre, you finally meet face to face with the sun setting upon an unobscured ocean, extending endlessly, the waves rumbling deeply into song at the cliffs below. This invocation marked the completion of that journey, having been recorded in a studio in Estrella, Spain, in collaboration with my dear friend Javi Marugarren, only 3 days after finishing the Camino.
